Thanks for all your kind comments.   It was a special time for me, my mother and my daughter....an experience of a lifetime.

IqJones - yes, I did make the veil.  It was incredibly easy.  I cut a length of tulle, about 2 yards, and folded it over/inside a piece of white covered wire loop, then attached it to a regular hair comb with another piece of the wire.  We put the comb in upside down so the fold of the tulle was on the outside.  Sorry I don't have any pics to show it.

that dress is beautiful!!
i helped my friend make a wedding dress once.. i made the roses that went on the dress (in the back).. it was so much fun.  
i always wanted to make my own wedding dress but i figure if im ever getting married, i'd probably be too stressed out.

That has inspired me to try and make my own veil.  I bought my wedding dress but the veils all look so simple but are so expensive.  Thanks for the inspiration.
