How adorable! Congrats! I've been thinking about making  something for my boyfriend's niece -- that way I get around the curse of the boyfriend sweater and make something tiny and cute...

hi strangelittlemama,
i was so inspired by your amazing sweater and adorable girl, that i made one for my daughter's 3rd birthday, and just convinced her to try it on tonight...

the lighting isn't very good inside, but maybe you can see the soft cotton yarn...a blend of all the golds, yellows and oranges i had on hand...
here's a closer pic:
