Is this where I get to preen?  (I'm terrified of the "New Topic" button!)

There she is!  I need to get a better photo, though.  I live in the darkest dwelling place, I think.

This was about a month and a half of knitting, on and off along with other smaller projects during lulls when I couldn't stand to even touch the wool.

This is laceweight from handpaintedyarn.com, color:  Indigo.  I used maybe a little over one skein.

It is, by far, the prettiest thing I've ever knit and I'm enchanted by it.

Edit:  I knew I forgot something.  This is a pattern by Dorothy Siemens of fiddlesticksknittin g.com .  Fantastic pattern and the instructions and charts were very clear.  I thought the only thing that was a little confusing was that only one half is charted and you have to then do the mirror image on the other side.  But once I got past that mental hurdle, it was fairly smooth sailing.  I did have to rely on my life-lines a couple times...but that was my own inattention at work rather than anything about the pattern.   Smiley

Beautiful work. Please feel encouraged to preen whenever you knit something that nice!

bethanne, this was from fiddlesticksknittin g.com .  I think I actually purchased the pattern elsewhere, but that is THE page to go to for this and other patterns by Dorothy Siemens.

That's incredible! One of the few knit lace patterns I'd actually wear.
