depending on your waist size you could make a few belts! i think mine was a bit over a hundred, but i'm really small.
WOW. 500 pull tabs. i just ran up to random people and asked for their tabs, they thought it was a bit weird, but naturally they couldn't object.  haha.

Super cute!  I've wanted a soda/pop tab belt for so long!  I love how you added the girly twist with the ribbon!   Smiley

sorry this took so long
it's pretty simple if you look at the close up picture
i just got two colors of ribbon, several yards
1. tie the ends together
2. about two inches down from that not, you will not it on to the center cross piece of your first pop tab. it's not very pretty, but this forms the loop at one end of your belt to put the loose ends thru.
3. thread the pop tabs on, all facing up and the same direction and everything  The tabs should layer on top of each other (see close up)
The ribbons just criss cross back and forth, each going in to their own separate hole in the pop tab

that probably didn't make much sense, but if you look at the pictures, you can probably figure it out =)

I love your belt! I've been collecting poptabs for awhile and I'd love to make something like this! I wrote a blog post on pop tab fashion at http://iminlovestyleblog.blogspot.com/ and featured your belt with a link back to your original topic post.
