FIRST. i cut down the middle of a stinky old polo i never wore and painted some melting hearts.


^the shirt as it's drying.

SECOND. i did the whole cut-and-fill-in-between-teh-legs thing with some jeans that had FANTASTIC pockets on the legs. they were crying to be made into a skirt. CRYING.

but i also wanted a bit wider skirt with a little more flair, so i cut up the sides of the legs too and filled those in. i also took some scraps and sewed it across. just for...unique decoration? also added a neat-o lace trim. yaaaay.

that shirt is awesome! i love polos - but there are a lot of boring ones out about in the shops at the minute - urs CERTAINLY isnt boring! i love it!

get one of em open-able zippers that u can separate - like all good jackets have and sew half on each side making sure its aligned nice and properly.

i'm a simple minded folk so that's the best i can explain it, and that's how i do it!
