Schultüten

My daughter will be starting school here in the U.S. this fall, and I thought it would be fun to make her a Schultüte. Are there any particular things that are always put in them? Any creative ideas for making one?

This is what I whipped up in the end using scrap cardboard, wrapping paper, tissue paper and ribbon. It contained school supplies and stickers.

Supertoll!!  I like the cardboard you chose   I miss schultueten...  I remember when i got mine i had lots of sweets, a doll and cute school supplies...
