Hollister style top

I saw a shirt at Hollister a few months ago that I thought was really cute, they had replaced part of the shoulder with strips of another color of fabric like so:



I went on a missions trip to Montana with my church this past week (we got to paint houses and do a kids club thing...) and we got these free shirts that were just plain white with the youthworks logo on them. I decided mine needed to be prettified and I thought of that shirt, so this is what I did to it:




It doesn't say "Outhworks" it says "Youthworks"...I just had my arm in the way

It was a little confusing getting the neckline to work out right but I pretty much just made it up as I went along and was really happy with the result!

yay! I have the shirt too. I went to Tennessee.    I was thinking of doing some reconstructing on it because it's pretty plain to begin with...but I can't complain about a free tshirt! hehe. What a neat idea. so rad.

OMG!  That is disgustingly cute and ingenuitive.  I always pick things i like and try to make them.  and whoot for missions!  I will defianetly try to make something like this.
