i'm not exactly sure what category this should go under, but since it's made from paper products i figured it could go here.

i really needed a jewelry box, and i was really bored, and i had way too many empty cardboard boxes sitting around, so i decided to make my own jewelry box!

i took some tissue boxes and random other boxes, glued/taped them together, and then covered them in flower fairy pictures (and a few random other fantasy pictures) so it'd be pretty.

end product:

what do you think?

Edit:  Okay, I made a tutorial! It's rather long, so I turned it into a pdf file.  You can get it at http://web.mit.edu/chukl/www/Crafts/JewelBoxTut.pdf

I guess if you don't have an adobe reader, let me know and I'll turn it into a different file format for you. And of course, if you don't understand something, just ask!  Smiley Enjoy!

that's pretty fabulous  Grin  I keep telling myself I need to do something like that... I have this nasty habit of just putting my jewelry wherever I happen to be when I take it off... which means I never know where it is when I wanna wear it Sad
