My little cousin learned this in school. I love this purses I made already 3 and I cannot stop it^^
I made a tutorial on my blog :-)
You can make it with all kind of themes cause you only need to cut paper pieces. Im into Hello Kitty so my one is HK related. My cousin made a horse related one.

Those would be really cute to give gift cards in to make it more personal. 
(I hate breaking down and going the gift card route, but sometimes it's the best thing to do.)

those are one of those little cute things that look complicated to construct, but then people like you come and make it super easy Smiley

small tip: the font is a bit hard to read for running text, but this is a very clear tutorial otherwise!
