I plan on mailing him something (he lives two states away) but I'm totally lost for ideas. I wanted to send him hershey's kisses (because I got a kiss for my birthday) but he's vegan and extremely lactose intolerant. Maybe I'll decorate pens and an expando for his files? I was thinking I would paint an expando suggestively or something, but office supplies don't leave a lot of room for innuendo.
Any help would be appreciated.

Stencil him a t-shirt!  A couple tournaments around here give shirts for speaker awards with pithy statements.  This year was 'I flow like Tupac'..... come on, what debater doesn't want that?

Peanut chews are usually vegan (check the back to be sure since they were just bought by Just Born and I don't know if the ingredients are the same).

I agree, a cheesy debate shirt would be perfect!

Any idea what event he does? (C-X, L-D, P-F, Extemp?)  Depending on the event, you could use some debate jokes.

He does cx, (surprisingly because I'm very proudly an LDer. We actually met at debate camp, a very classic nerdy romance) I think I'm going to use the shirt idea, it's a wonderful idea! thanks.
(I like "I flow like Tupac" but I think I'm going to add "Drop you briefs, I'll spread, you extend and we'll flow together" completely inappropriate to anyone but a debater!)
