Ideas...pen/pencil cups, calendars, post-it note/scrap notes holders, paperclip holders, small french memo boards, dry-erase boards, baskets/bins for CD's or papers or misc items, name plates, magnets, push pins, small diy kits for use on lunch and breaks, pens/pencils, notepads, drink coasters, drinking cups, photo frames, file folders...

I'll add...
Blank paper journals for taking notes at meetings - after all, who wants to use a pad of plain lined paper?  Bleeech. I like SewPixies' idea of bins for CDs.  Bins for CDs with jewel cases too (I have a lot of software CDs, but I can't discard the jewel cases because I need to store the fat booklet of tech info that comes with them).  Name plates would be cool, magnetic or stand-alone.  Business card holders.  Paperweights.  Book-ends.  Clock.  Snack holder.  Small container for loose change (for the candy machine of course!).  Binders.  Cell phone holder.  Small toys to cheer me up.   Smiley

Oooh, I need one of those too.  Or at least, a nicer leash thing than the one I'm currently wearing.  I also thought of various stealth items  -  like a mirror that isn't obviously a mirror, so that I can see who's sneaking up behind me (like, maybe an artsy mosaic with lots of mirrored glass and reflective tiles in it).  I would also love a pillow that doesn't look like a pillow, say, an Uglydoll-style thing but bigger.  Faux book covers of various sizes to go over the magazines and novels I'm actually reading.  Oh, and this is weird, but I've always thought I could use a mix CD of someone talking (say, reading a technical manual, but making it sound like a conversation), so that it actually looks like I'm busy on the speakerphone when I see certain coworkers approaching.  Hmmm, I guess I'm sounding like quite the slacker,  Grin but I really do work hard!  But if you work in a cube, you too know the meaning of lack of privacy!

Thanks so much organizedmess for putting this together.

oh and ax174 I totally know what you mean about the lack of privacy! we just moved offices and now our cubes are 53" tall down from about 6'. it is taking some getting used to.
