Hah!  I saw your undies when I was looking at your Chaplin furniture a while ago, and I thought she was eating a wonton with chopsticks.  Hmm, I don't generally think of myself as overly naive! Roll Eyes

Those are mad cute!

When embroidering on stretchy stuff it helps to use a piece of waste canvas.  Cut a chunk of aida cloth a little bigger than your hoop and just let the hoop stretch the material as much as it wants.  Don't try to stretch them too much yourself.  Embroider away. Then trim around the aida cloth and with tweezers, remove strand by strand.  It's tedious but it's actually kinda fun deconstructing it.  I made t-shirts for my whole family with embroidered designs.  All of them get machine washed (and my husband's has been washed oh, a zillion times) and the embroidery is still fine and intact.

Fab idea!

For embroidering on fabric you can also use some stuff that might (or might not) be called waste canvas.  you use like the aida in the post above this one, but when you're finished you wet it and it gets kinda soapy-slithery and you can just slide those little strands outta there.

nice work, too.  I think there could be a whole range of undies like that....

those are SO adorable!!

My boyfriend is the biggest fan of Hunter S. Thompson there ever was. (Not that I know many others...heh). Where did you get the pattern for that one, or is it from needlecrafter as well?

Sometimes I think it's the only way I'll get him to look at my underthings Wink haha.

haha...thats hilarious, I actually just did a search on google for hunter s thompson.  I was originally going to do a stencil, until  I found out that it seems Thompson is a little camera shy, so all I found on the net were peoples sketches of him.  So I borrowed that photo, but sadly, it doesnt compareto the actual sketch, which was really good..i think the website was

and the image was by a guy named Bob Staakel...there he cant get mad if I credit him, right?

Love those panties!  I personally adore the patterns at www.sublimestitching.com.  Jenny has hip stylings and is relatively inexpensive.  I'm tragic with a needle, but I've used some of her patterns for beading.  Here's some pics.

What an appropriate modification of that design. I saw it and thought...that's a biiiig lipstick! It must have been someone's idea of a joke. I mean...it's so obvious!

And! I'm so glad to see my patterns being used for beading! Very pretty.

Here's some panties I did:
