I know I have been back to this thread in awhile, but I'm glad I did today. I love all the purses everyone has made, they're magnificent. And you have no idea how happy you guys make me to know you don't hold a grudge. (:

@elrro: So so sorry this is so late. eBay? Hm, that is a possibility. I have one I'm working on now (a light blue one), so she may go up for sale or not. I still have to figure out some sort of price range on these.

I should post a picture of Scrumps now, the poor dear is falling apart at the seams! He will be turned into a pillow sometime soon.

so my original monster bag, Scrumps, has been falling apart at the seams. literally.

and that's just part of the damage. the pockets on the inside are also coming apart, apparently plastic doesn't like being sewn onto something for long periods of time. -.-;;

so here's a preview of the next bag i'm working on. so far the outside body of her body is together, and the flap is halfway done. she's blue, and the inside will be white. this time i used pink felt for the mouth, and the teeth are a sparkly white felt.

Whoa, I've made a design almost just like yours and had a couple people want to buy them but I haven't done any offical deals yet.
It crazy we would come up with something so similar. What did you get your idea from?

I wanted it to look like fizzgig from The Dark Crystal. So I based it on that. Then some of that Domo-kun anime monster guy ended up in there and everything became more cartoony. Lots of different things combined. Then I found some orange fur on sale for 4 bucks.

When I started on this site a couple days ago I was wondering if anyone had ever made one. So i'm glad I found your tutorial.

Yours is really cute by the way.

haha yeah, everywhere I go I have little kids staring at my purse and people asking how to make them.

It makes me want to never switch my purse.

Have you made any to sell yet?
