Also, I forgive you. I thought it was also childish to do, but understandable also when you want something to be just yours, but it is a really cool purse and of course everyone wants one, you trend setter
Apologies are very hard when you realize things. We all need time sometimes to just think, and we are so lucky that you are brave enough to make the decision to come back and love us once again
I hope to see more of your beautiful work in the future.
Thank you for posting this tutorial.
And to someone else who asked...I've seen the fabric at hancock's and joann's. I've only seen 2 rolls of it at my local hancocks, but it was there.

I was surfing around recently and found this site with a really fun selection of fake fur:
http://www.makemefabrics.com/
(click Modern > Fake Fur to see it)
I'm not sure how their prices compare but they have some really cool styles.

Leah, thank you for posted that information. But I believe it's safe to say that for the time being I don't have plans on selling the purse, and that crafters here can re-make it to something their own to use. Like Leah pretty much summed up, you can make the purse, but please don't sell it for your own profit. That's my job!
Oh thank you for posting the link for fake furs! That's a lot better than browsing Jo-Anns, and paying ridiculous prices. I'm hoping to get shaggy white fur and make a more winterized version of the purse.
To everyone else: You have no idea how much your acceptance means to me. I was expecting to be ridiculed, shunned, etc.. Knowing that you are not a community to hold grudges really means something. Thank you!

I don't think it's per yard. My fur that I got came up to around $25, but I got like three or four yards.

Yeah, I don't know what quantity it is really. I recently ordered the orange and green "wilder hair" and it says:
62" goods
I wonder if that means 62" wide and 1 yard long. I guess I'll see when I get it in the mail. I've never bought faux fur before so I'm not sure how much it usually costs.
I'm planning to dress up a winter coat by adding a fur collar and fur cuffs around the bottoms of the sleeves! Silly thing to be doing do in the middle of the summer, I know.
I was just recently reminded of this amazing coat I saw in Oilily a few years ago which was a plaid wool fitted coat with this amazing faux green fur trim that looked like Muppet fur. It was totally out of my price range but I still daydream about it! Hopefully my homebrewed version will come out well!
