Confetti Pencil Bag

I got this idea out of a Singer book on making accessories.  It's a great way to use up bits of fabric & trim that are too tiny for anything else.  I also threw in some pieces from a really gaudy artificial xmas flower arrangement and, of course, glitter.

The scraps are sandwiched between a black cotton duck and a piece of clear vinyl, using a spray adhesive to hold them in place.  The whole thing is then sewn together around the edges and rows of stitching, about an inch apart, are sewn across the piece using clear nylon thread.
