well dust bunny, i used your elastic idea for my bathroom curtains! it was that elastic cord which worked out great though it wasn't stretched out. i used 3 strands together, used cup hooks for the holders than slipped the loops at the ends of the elastic onto the hooks. i call this kooky craft. silly but fun!
