I'm not sure if this is the right place, but its hanging on my kitchen wall so I'm guessing its a houseware now? Grin
It started off as a shrine, but I didnt want to glue my favorite things in, just in case I changed my mind later, as some things I have had a pretty long time.

I want bore you all to tears, but to give you some idea about what I thought was special;
the pink nappy pin I kept under my bed (old wives tale) hoping for a daughter when I was pregnant 22 years ago, ps it worked!
Worry dolls
A bird I have had since I was a teenager, one of the first things I ever bought myself
The key from my childhood jewelry box
A brooch from my beloved Grandma

thanks for looking!

that's really cute! And I'm so giggling to find all these shrine threads....

(my mother and I have different decorating styles. When she came to stay for 2 months to help out when I was pregnant, she walked into my living room, looked at my victorian mantel, and said 'you have a...a....a... SHRINE! to your wedding!  Cheesy Cheesy maybe now I'll actually build one...)

I'm looking for some little older style keys, like the small one you have used, the rustier the better, any idea where I might find some...?

I will however keep an eye out for you and let you know if I find any.
