Yep, I get it too! Very clear tutorial, (but photos would be good too Wink)

I was wondering if you had trouble with the glue from the Contact sticking to the sewing machine needle (and the bobbin etc)? I've got a new machine, and I'd hate to stuff it up Undecided  (I just thought.......I suppose I could just try sewing a bit of contact before I go and make a whole bag, couldn't I......)

Anyway, thanks for sharing this great idea with us Fudgegirl! It's much appreciated.

The straps look like satin ribbon.  Is that right?  You said you were having trouble with the handles falling apart and that's probably the reason if it's true?  Am I right?

ah, i'm glad it makes sense. The handles in the photo are just layers of contact, but i changed them so now they're fabric. I didnt have any trouble with the glue on the needle, or it could have just been that i was getting frustrated with the bag so i didnt notice... Anyway, i hope everyone finds this tut usefull... maybe we could see some new versions of it?
