Sorry I missed you guys!  But I thought the last thing I needed right now was the temptation to buy or accumulate more stuff.  Hope you had fun.  Hope to catch you in Sept.

Hi Girls,

Guess what?  I finished Cora's skirt!  Here is a photo:

Didn't it turn out well?  I also made a shorter skirt from the pink fabric.

These always look better on a model.

I was feeling a little guilty because it seemed like Carole wanted the pink fabric too. Smiley  Carole, I just wanted you to see that I put it to good use!   Bonnie we missed you - next time join us for lunch!

Wow!  Those turned out so great.  I didn't make anything with my finds yet.  I consider myself the craftster-in-major-training... maybe I should make a button and have that be my avatar like the ones you see on new employees. LOL

I made a skirt from my new ties too.  I can't help it!

Is there a 12-step program for obsessed craftsters?

I finally used part of the vintage needlepoint that I got on our thrift-capade! I saved the lobster for myself, but used the sailboat part on a skirt for my Stash Swap partner! You can see her modeling the skirt here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50945.60 page 7 towards the bottom.

Here's a good detail shot:

I also posted my first original knitting project! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=54691.0
