August is almost upon us. What should we do? Should we meet at someones house and do a specific craft? anything anybody is dying to explore? soapmaking can be fun and social.... and it cleans the floors, too... Knit and watch Buffy reruns? (that's what we'd do in atlanta) meet at the coffee house like usual? organize an all day thrift o rama? It was great to meet everybody today and I'm kicking myself that I didn't get to meet the artist, but thanks for the recap denise. thanks bonnie for the peek at the new vogue knitting. must get self a copy. they keep doing the most amazing modular bottoms with koigu. does anyone know when the new Knit1 comes out? alright I now have to go post in the knitting forum about the maddeningly vague shibori article in the new interweave.

would everybody be interested in meeting up at my house and knitting? or crocheting? Maybe we could organize a yarn swap? I live at williams field and power on the asu east campus. so I understand if it's way out there. I just wanted to suggest something as I'm crafty deprived.

Maybe we should all meet at Gracie's Thrift, since I keep hearing about how fun it is on the Phx Thrift thread! Or the usual Coffee Talk hangout would be cool. I think that CT is centrally located to the majority of us. Power Rd. is pretty darn far to me.

I DO live way far out. Anyway... How about if we meet up at Gracie's on August 13 and then either hit some goodwills which are 50% off all that day or go and get coffee, maybe at three roots again since it's relatively close by and we all know where it is. thoughts anybody?

WOW- that sounds like fun!  I'm attending a funeral at 10:00.  It's hard to say how long it will go.  (Don't I always have some excuse?)  Maybe I can meet up with you guys somewhere later.

so what's the verdict for saturday then?  i'd be up for meeting at 3 roots.  is there enough room there?

ever since coffee talk rearranged that front room it's been a total pain.  i hate to move those big grandma chairs all over the house.  (and i'm not too excited at the prospect of sitting outside)  but that's just my opinion on the matter.  i'll go whereever you all decide.

also, what time?  10:00?

So are we still meeting at 10 am at 3 Roots? Or are we going to wait until the 20th for the Gracie's sale?

i have no idea who might read this in the next eight hours or whatever, but i will try to make it over to 3 roots.  if i do make it and someone else is there, that would be lovely.
