here's a pic of a tub-o-lip gloss that I made. It's cinnamon bun flavored, it has swirls of cinnamon and vanilla.

*falls to knees and begs for a tutorial*
YUMMMM. Now all we need is a frappucino one, and my day is complete!
My diet ius healthy, with exercice, good food, and not too much of it. When I feel the sugar craving I just pick me up a Bonne Bell gloss. I can't use my homemades when I'm trying to lose weight because most of them have sugary product in them. Sad

OK, but it is devilishly easy.  First you get some vegetable shortening.  Mix it in a plastic micrwaveable container, add cinnamon, and stir like crazy.  Then put it in the nuke for about 30 seconds.  Do the same in another container with either real vanilla(the fake stuff is mostly water and will not work) or vanilla essence oil. layer in a glass container with a lid(I get mine at the dollar store 4 for a dollar) and stick it in the fridge till it hardens, about 20 minutes and voila!

I was the art director for a middle school camp recently and we made funny lipgloss one day as a craft. It was just vaseline and a drop of whatever extract -vanilla, peppermint, bannana, etc- the kids wanted  plus a drop of food coloring. The darker colored food coloring seemed to tint their lips a bit after they wore the gloss, but they seemed to like that more than the gloss itself. They all loved it, esp. the guys.  Wink

Yeah, there's a ton of ways to make lip golss.  And if you're not a big fan of cinnamon, cocoa powder works well too, and it gives a nice brown tint.

Yum! Does it stay hard, though? Or do you have to keep it in the freezer? I'm going to have to try this!
