very first hat I ever make, finished a couple weeks ago, and it looks like hell on me. Always figured myself a hat person and lo and behold this one looks like crap atop my noggin. gave it to my best friend, its hot on her.

and my very first legwarmer which requires a garter, or me to get off my tush and block it. I havnt made its partner yet (kickin out some gifts yet) but itll look the exact same, so just imagine theres two there and there you have the pair.

hope you enjoy. my

sorry the pics are a bit blurry, i was having to monkey with my camera the while time.

Theyre actually both from schafer yarns http://www.schaeferyarn.com/colorconcepts.htm the leg warmer is" indira gahndi" from the memorable women collection, and the hat is from the kids part and the color is "woody" the picture on the site isnt that great but the hat shows the color better. I love this companies yarn, my lys carries it so i have the two shown plus the "katherine hepburn" which is a gorgeous black and green. I think im making it into some sort of hooded scarf.

Ooooooo, those are lovely. Congrats on your first hat, at least it looks good on someone! It took me a while before I could knit a hat that someone would actually wear! The leg warmer looks fab, I bet it'll look even more fab when it gets a partner and you wear them out!
