everyone is getting such cute monkeys!

while she wasn't part of the swap, i wanted to share the monkey I made for my friend.

Betty Lou isn't looking at you funny, she actually has a very lazy eye. That doesn't stop her though, she loves to dance to bluegrass music.

Here is my darling sock monkey from DithMer.

Loved seeing all the sock monkeys and would definately be interested in participating in a round 2!!!  I would love to make a monkey out of some funky color socks.

I got my package from blueblythe today.  Everything was so cute!

Here is the monkey:

And here is the craft part:

It's coasters, three magnets, a picture frame with a monkey in it, some monkey heads for crafting, a charm, and a pin.  I love it all so much!  Thanks blueblythe!

I'm glad you liked it all. The monkey's ears ended up so big he looks like a bat!

the first monkey i made came from a tutorial found on the package of the red heeled socks that you buy to make an original sock monkey, but i believe you can find a tute online. i bought my socks at an Army-Navy Surplus store.
