so, i just did those, of course i have not sewn up around the edges or hot glued the tongue under the front. but i think they look pretty cute :] hard to wal in though so i may be using something over the top to hold them in place. also the bws will be cut shorter, just my old laces taht were in the shoes now Tongue

Hey I really think these are cool!  Yeah awesome...I made over my sneakers too (before I saw this, tho.)  Yours look AWESOME!  Glam converse! 

P.S.  Maybe I will post my made-over Vans look-alikes on here.  I made them over w/ fabric markers.  Waayyy easy project.  $5 markers.  But your Converses probably are alot better than my Vans (look-alikes.)

P.P.S.  You got SKILL!   Wink  I only have skill for a kid...I'm 11.  The only things I can do are make earrings, cards, magazines, and color my sneakers Cry.

Oh yeah and if you'd like to do the Converse make-over for cheap,  go to Payless.  My mom found a nice pair of low-tops there for $4, and perhaps the low-tops will work too.

holy crap my stomach just cramped at the thought of cutting up my chucks.
random fact: my oldest pair have turned a lovely shade of brown despite originally being black. i've had wierdos stop me and ask where i got those "limited edition chocolate brown chucks"!!
