these are great! I'm thinking of making them gingerbread man shaped for christmas. any ideas for things that I could decorate them with besides chocolate chips?

You could decorate them with colored soap and pipe it on like icing... just let it cool to a firm consistaincy...

these are so neat!!!

i was thinking about it and i realized we use that salt to put in our water filter...
im so stealing some to make this soap haha

what happens if you dont put the oils in... i mean i know they probably just wont smell pretty, but will they smell bad?

i guess ill find out...

Firstly your oil is a binding agent...its moisture that you need...

Secondly the salt might be a little to harsh on your skin...

give it a go though and see what happens, you can always add some oil at the lastminute if it looks too dry.

would vanilla extract work the same as an essential oil?
thanks so much for posting this recipe! i'm going to buy all my supplies needed on saturday Smiley i can't wait. i'm going to try and make my "milk" into chocolate milk too with some chocolate extract that i have lying around the house! i have some empty starbucks mocha frappaccino bottles that i'm going to use for the milk  Wink

work the same as in scenting it ? yes..

you could actually just add some cocoa to the milk powder... that would make it chocolate.
