So after finding a pair of Payless brand "City Sneaks" white canvas shoes at the garment district, and making them into shoes based on the cover of Elliott Smith's "Figure 8", I decided to have another go with them, this time in argyle fashion:


Hopefully the pictures work for everybody.  Pretty simple really, just fabric paint, tape, and alot of patience.  I'd be happy to answer any questions, however.  edited: fixed the pics

I love the shoes. I love argyle.
I found fleece today at Hancocks with an argyle pattern now I really wanna make a blanket.

I used to be an avid shopper of the Garmet District. We had many a theme party when I was at BU and we always created our costumes from the $1/pound floor.

Your shoes look great! (Have you seen the recent post on here with the argyle t-shirt. Pretty sweet as well)
