so i have a round laughing cow brand cheese wedge box and i can't help thinking that it would make a cool clutch/wallet or something. it's big enough for a license and money folded in half.
so maybe i should have put this in a "how the heck do i go about this?" thread... lol. duct tape? fabric? any ideas? Smiley
thanks!

I don't know, but I love that stuff. When I was backpacking in South East Asia, all we ate was laughing cow on baguettes.

I'm going to have to buy some and wallow in the memories.

Could you stitch some material between the two "lids"....and put a zipper through the middle?  A little wristlet strap would be cool too.

If you wanted something more durable than the paper box etc, vinyl would be awesome.

You could always make a copy of the front and back labels and print onto iron-on transfer paper...or even make a screenprint stencil of both labels; should you decide on fabric or vinyl.

1.  Laughing Cow cheese is awesome.  I used to love the little cubes when I was a kid, but now I've graduated to the wedges (good with Wasa!)

2.  I second the idea above.  A zipper all the way around, with a piece of cloth at one side, acting as a "hinge."

Keep us posted!

i like the zipper idea a lot. i'll have to measure how big of a zipper i'd need once i get some time (hopefully sooner rather than later).
