I am a die hard GNR fan to this very day.  I decided to use this challenge to make something I've been meaning to make for a while now; ever since I discovered shrinky dinks anyway.  An Appetite for Destruction album cover pendant.  I drew the album cover on shrinky dink using Sharpies.  Sorry the pic doesn't show all the detail, but that's what I get when I use my scanner, my camera showed next to nothing.

I got a good tip on scanning from a nice craftster, and now I've added a closeup on the pendant that shows more of the detail. Thanks Goto Grin

I would wear that.  Cool.  There was a band who had an impact.  The begining of 'Sweet child o' mine'  still gives me goose bumps.  Hearing that song was one of the few times in life a new band stopped me in my tracks.  Seems like it was summer and it was coming from every car window...  This challenge is stirring up the memories eh?

Wow, I bet that took some patience! (heh).
I miss their music-it doesn't get played at all--well wait. I'm old now and listen to kid-friendly adult contemporary station, so I don't know if it gets played.
Ahh, Slash with no shirt on.  I couldn't look away.
Very nice work on the pendant, that's some awesome detail!

Thanks, oh and I really like the pun Grin   It took me about an hour to draw it.  As for GNR on the radio, it is played from time to time on the classic rock station where I live(the only station that plays real music with guitars and people who can write their own songs) but no nearly enough.
