okay guys, here's the final-set-in-stone-no-do-overs-absolute-rock-solid-solid-gold plans for our july meet up!!

when and where?

this saturday, july 30th!

  • 9:00 am - 10:00 am : meet at 3 roots for coffee
3 roots opens at 9:00 am and is at 1020 south mill avenue in tempe, just across the street from the asu art museum.  in case you get lost, have questions about the food situation (etc), their phone number is 480/966.4949.
    (for map, see below)

where should i park?

here is the info from the museum's website: "Free parking is available in ASU Art Museum-marked spaces at the south end of the Tempe Center, located at the NE corner of Mill Avenue and 10th Street. Please sign in at the museum lobby desk when parking in the reserved spaces.  Free parking is also available on weekends and after 7 p.m. weeknights in parking structure #3 on Myrtle Avenue."

wait a minute, how much is this going to set me back?

entry for the museum is free!  the only cost is whatever food or drinks you may purchase.

but who's going?!?

we've already got bonnie, chris, tina, illanna, carole, jenny (with family), and me!  plus my friends blue, shannon, and shannon's boyfriend brad too.  holy cow!

Wow - thanks Denise - you are so organized.  I can't commit yet - we have a super-busy weekend.  Take care!  Oh - The new Anthropologie opens on Friday night at Scottsdale Fashion Square.  I'll start a new thread for this obviously very important news.

Oops- something came up last night and now I'm "out."   Sad  I have to meet someone at 10:30.  It's possible that I could be done by lunch.  We'll see.

This is the big weekend that all of our tenants turnover.  Twelve are leaving - Three are staying, Eight new ones are moving in and we are selling one of the houses!  YAY!  Don't try to do the math.

Anyway, it's a lot of cleaning, repairing, checking out, picking up keys, appointments, signing papers, etc.  Fortunately my dh does a lot of the tough stuff.

Have fun if I don't make it - thanks Denise for your great organization.

well i'm always late anyway, so i don't want to make any promises.  i want to go to coffee, but i'm afraid the desire to sleep a little longer will override that.  i will try!
