My first effort with tyvek.. fun stuff, very slippery.  So there are some measurement errors and plenty of sewing mistakes... but I like it anyway.  I left it U.S.P.S. side out for the kitch factor.

Yeah I used bias tape, never used it before, but it wasn't too hard.

oooh....tyvek wallet....very nice.  I ordered a pack of tyvek bags from USPS for "shipping purposes" when I ordered boxes for my etsy shop.  I do need a new wallet, maybe I'll make a tyvek one...hmm....

Just a word of caution, USPS shipping supplies are not allowed to be used for anything other than shipping through USPS.  I would not recommend selling these wallets online or on a large scale.  I know you said you weren't considering selling, but this is for anyone else who thinks about it.

Hmmmmm... if I beg you, would you send me a couple of those?!?! We can have a mini swap.. I could send you something from Italy. They don't have tyvek over here and I'm dying to try to make a wallet like this one!!
