hi there! i've been wanting to make this for quite sometime, but i only found the perfect yarn for it on my trip to visit my boyfriend last month. so here it is, the pixie hat:

(excuse the dorkiness).

it was a great pattern, easy to understand, and fun to knit. if only it didn't feature my nemisis, the matress stitch!

oh. oh. oh. my. oh. oh my. That is my hat. I have the SAME yarn.... in the same hat.... from the same pattern... Oi! Seriously though, I got about 3/4 through the making and haven't finished. Okay, sorry for freaking out, but it looks exactly the same as the one I am/was making. It looks so lovely! You have made me want to finish it!

-Kaia

ps... didn't mean to sound like a dork, but it really makes me laugh because it is identical to mine.  Cheesy

Wow!  I made one last winter but it totally looked awful on me.  i used this odd green yarn to make it more pixie-ish but it just looked bad.  What did you use, I think maybe if I tried again with your yarn I wouldn't look like such an idiot in it!  Smiley
You look perfect for it!
