so once you have signed up, you wait for a pm telling you your swappers info??? is that how this works.  sorry i am a newbie!

I got your PM info yesterday. Once you sign up you do, essentially, wait until the end of sign ups and then I will be PMing you with your partners info. And with this swap you will be sending your partner your book by 8/12 and then once you get your partners book you will craft based on it and send them their items back by 9/2!  Wink

hi, i love the idea of this swap and really really want to participate.  i am a fairly new knitter and while i LOVE to make stuff, i don't know that i have ever made anything that has caused anyone to go:  "oh my god, that is the most beautiful thing ever!"  i am willing to try,(and want to alot!)  but should i wait 'til i'm more of an expert?
let me know.  don't want to be one of the "flakes"

Well, do you do any other sorts of crafts? You sort of have to ask yourself... let me see how I'm trying to word this; Basically, everyone has a first swap, and while I can't speak for every craftster member, I know that with a lot of us it's really scary because you want to make sure that you can make things for it that your partner will like and enjoy. You just have to ask yourself if you will be able to think of things to make for the swap and if you will be able to produce them.  I hope I worded that okay, lol  Cheesy.

Oh, I am very tempted to join this swap....

I will have to think about it over the weekend; I had about 3 million favorite books as a kid.

I'm all signed up. It's hard picking just the right book to share from all of my favorites. Plus some lend themselves more to crafting ideas than others.
I'm also looking forward to getting to know some of you better. Books can tell a lot about the reader.
Somehow I feel I'm not the only one who loves to curl up with a favorite book from my childhood when I'm having a bad day. Smiley

I bought my books yesterday. Two this time, and one is a chapter book. I hope my partner doesn't mind.
