Now, I'm an extremely computer literate person, so I feel really stupid for asking this, but...

How in the world am I supposed to upload pictures to the craftster picture hosting thing!? I've never used it before, but I've used similar software, so I figured it'd be no problem. I got in there and I wasn'tlogged in.. okay, so I go to log in, and it throws an error saying I'm not registered. Okay, no problem. I just go back, refresh the page and I'm logged in. Then I looked for the link to upload pictures. I thought I'd see a button, or an obvious link... but nothing. I checked my profile, went to my gallery, and even went to other peoples galleries. Still nothing. I deleted my cookies to see if that could be the obscure cause to my problem. Nope. I'm missing any sort of link to upload pictures.

^click for screen shot.
(ugh, photobucket automatically resizes... sorry about that, I forgot)

Now, either I'm totally blind, completely insane, or there isn't a link. I took a screen shot so maybe someone else can point out that there was an obvious link in front of my face that I was somehow missing. I'd upload all the pictures to photobucket, but it's so unpredictable I just don't want to deal with the hassel. So much for that, eh?

This exact thing happened to me last night.  I was downloading photos for a tute - It's so frustrating to only be able to do three at a time....but anyway.  Craftster automatically recognizes me as Rickrackruby.  I don't have to log in.  So after about 10 photos I noticed that my next three or six photos were uploaded into an "Unregistered" file.  I figured that I had somehow logged out.  So I attempted to log in.  Trust me I know my user ID and password.  But I was not allowed to log in.  I gave up and went to bed.  Don't feel stupid - it was probably a temporary glitch.   Smiley

In the news listing at the upper right hand part of the page it says that everyone was logged out of craftster for system upgrades... in other words- don't worry it wasn't you and you're not stupid! Smiley

Log in and try the image upload again.  It is really easy- just click the browse button to find the image you want to upload on your own computer.

Actually, I posted this on the 27th of July, and at that point, the upgrades Leah was referring to hadn't been installed yet... It's a different issue (that still hasn't been resolved! ugh)
