This a great tutorial. Super easy to understand. I made one today for a friend's baby shower. The dots side is flannel and the yellow side is cotton.

I made a smaller one that the baby can carry around. I used a satiny fabric that I'm making a skirt out of for the other side of this one.

I saw one at Walmart that had rings in the loops. they were for teething. I thought it was a great idea since my boys always teethed on the corners of their blankets anyway! Cheesy

I know you can get large plastic d rings and such in the fabric stores.

That might work.

Just a thought. Wink

I am glad I found this thread.  I am making gifts for my newly expecting brother and SIL and this tutorial is awesome.   I finished the first one so I am trying to upload the photo.  This is the first time I have posted a project, so forgive me if it doesn't work. Grin  It is 18" square with flannel, flannel backed satin (purple with stars), chenille (lt. green), satin and grosgrain ribbons.

Thanks Frix!  I am going to make a couple more because it is the first time I have ever been an aunt.  It will be one spoiled baby!

What's the age range for these? My nephew is nearly 2, and I don't see him much (he lives in another state). This looks like fun to make, but will he still enjoy it?

I would love to look at your pics for the taggie blanket.  When I click on the pic (camera icon) this is what it says (Note: If you saw this icon appear next to a red X, a question mark, or next to absolutely nothing, then it means the corresponding image is temporarily or permanently missing. It is up to the person who originally posted it to fix this if they wish to.)   Can you fix this?

Thanks!!!

I just found this site when searching for how to make a "Taggie" type blanket, and I can't see the pictures either. Can someone send me the tutorial? Thanks!
