For the recent Stranger Things Swap I was sending to Abbeeroad. After perusing her questionnaire, I settled on an image that I've seen on several tshirts where you see the ST kids on their bikes in the "real world" in the forest and upside down from that you see Will and the creature with no face in the "Upside Down." To make the different places, I had a light bulb idea to sew black and red fabric together to represent the different locations. It worked brilliantly and I love how it turned out! I painted the hoop a matte black to frame the scene.

When I was looking at this picture I thought...well darn it! I think it is crooked. But I'm not sure.

Lesson: If you are using a wash away stabilizer to put your design on, WASH your fabrics first or use ONLY cold/lukewarm water to rinse it away. The black fabric hadn't been washed and noticeably shrunk (hence the wrinkles) after stitching. *sigh*

This TM patch is of Abbeeroad's (and mine) favorite quote from the series. I had some space fabric from a Doctor Who backpack I made left over. And it just was a lucky coincidence that the sparkly thread was on my ring of threads that I carry with me everywhere. The "stars" were my favorite part of this. Well, besides the quote. I think the space fabric translated well into the creepy vibe needed as well.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Is it over-the-top, dramatic, to say I love this so much it makes me vaguely nauseous with how WELL this beast is executed?

This hoopla is Dead.Nice.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
