Wood working?

I'm so down with a woodworking board.  I build furniture quite a bit, and have more saws/tools/doodads than anyone I know.  I know how to use those bitches too.  Bring on the board!

power tools scare me to death, but i'd love to see other's projects.  my grandpa does amazing intarsia and scrollsaw stuff, and i love to see how a couple of blocks of wood become an art piece.
and maybe a woodworking board would attract more male craftsters?  not that girls can't or don't do woodworking, but it's traditionally a manly craft.

I like the idea of this board.  I borrowed a book from the library that was wire sculpting, tin work, mosaic, and polymer clay.  It was called Craft Works.  Anywho, I own all the power tools and most of the hand tools in the family.  I'd love to have a source of creative inspiration rather than sifting through 80s "You and Your Scroll Saw" books.

Power tools aren't scary. I own all the power tools in my family too (and I'm the girl). Check out the Feminist Toolbox thread.

I always wondered why there wasn't a furniture board, but I guess that would just be considered crafty housewares.  There should def be a furniture board with, furniture someone made and recon.

I'd be interested in a woodworking board too, please! I was just poking around hoping to find some good instructions for making a wooden sign for my dad since Father's Day is coming up, and was somewhat surprised to see that there isn't one here at Craftster.
