Wow! I love this! I really want to make one now! (Don't worry, I won't copy your ninja turtle fabric, though! Wink ) One question though, how did you do the waist (the black part)? How does it stay up and what kind of closure/zipper/button/etc does it have? Thanks! AWESOME skirt!

I made one like that for a friend in blue spandex fabric and rainbow brite sheets!  But mine was more a line than circle.  I like the way yours looks and drapes a lot better!  cute cute!

I love looking at old posts and I especially love it when the pictures are still intact. 

I like the idea of circle skirts but can't have a lot of bulk around my non-flat waist.  Using a separate yoke and adding the skirt part to the yoke is the perfect solution. 

I also like the look of the handkerchief hem resulting from cutting the skirt part into a square instead of a circle.  I plan to make a couple of these as part of my summer wardrobe.
