Squeaky wheel theory, Saturn Wink

Plus, I read through it originally, thought about it some more, then did a search for "medieval" on the boards - there are 22 pages there! Not the 6 you get for "quilling" (another recent proposed board I noticed).

Squeak squeaker squeak squeakity?  Cheesy

maybe squeaking, but still like the idea.. still like the special occasion or clothing child board notion.

for those folks who were using this as a forum for Ren fair/LARP costume area I have a picture for you

This is a Sir Didymus outfit for a quest my local Amtgard chapter ran a couple weeks ago.  The doublet is modified from Simplicity 4059, the pants from Folkwear Saroulles and the hat from a class I took in the SCA over 10 years ago.

the rest of my costuming/clothing shots can be found here

Personally, I think having a specific board is a fabulous idea. Smiley

How about a Rennaissance faire swap to quench our thirst for fairecrafts?

lodging my vote for a Costuming board. I think divided just like the other wearables: Costuming: Completed Projects, & Costuming: Discussions & Questions.

Ok, this is an old thread but I think the time has come for a pair of child boards Under CLOTHING have Costuming D & Q and Costuming Completed Projects.
I personally have noticed a significant increase in Cosplay, Dance and other costume questions and projects posted in the Clothing and Miscelaneous boards (where else would you post questions about making a giant wearable head?). Maybe it's the same amount & I'm just more aware of it, but I think Craftster has grown enough that these questions are more frequent.
What say the rest of you?

Seems good, and is specific enough to cover what we need but large enough to get used.
