I would love to do this project.  A friend of mine wants armwarmers for X-mas and this pattern looks wonderful.  She wants it done in sport weigh yarn though...hmmm...math time  Embarrassed

you can do whatever your little heartdesires... i took the pattern from a book on different lace patterns....

I simplified the pattern quite a bit because I am a knitting gimp.. and I did reverse the pattern.. sort of.  I just used some blue heather TLC that I got for a buck.. and my camera can't take a decent pic indoors, but here are mine anyway.
