ok so i saw this top   http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/images/us/local/products/productsall/p179841b.jpg    and I fell in love but I was not crazy about spending $38 for something so simple besides what's the fun in that
so this is what i came up with

i tried to use this tute: http://www.livejournal.com/community/t_shirt_surgery/1664014.html but it always came out wrong, so I adapted it [cuz I suck at following tutes]
here's the lil' how to:

**cut one backpiece [make sure it's about 3" longer than the two front pieces], two fronts and two strips about 3" with  the shape illustrated above. you can use an old shirt for measurements or measure yourself.
please excuse my terrible english.
1-grab the two strips and sew them onto the inner corner of each front piece.

2-lineup the two strips with the front pieces. if everything's ok, move on to step 3

3-twist those strips till they're lined up again with the front pieces.

4-sew the strips to the front pieces and now you have one full piece

5-grab the backpiece and sew it to the front piece. you're done!

*NOTE
I used stretchy knit fabric so I didn't need to hem it [it was all I had anyway] But you can use anything you want.

really? i love it too, it used to be my sister's she was going to throw it away [can you believe it??!] anyway she's like 150 lbs heavier than me so I had to resize it quite a bit besides it was sorta a pinstriped peasant top but now it's a tube top.

That is such a simple & beautiful top. Once I find some suitable fabric, I'm going to make this ASAP. Great job!  Grin
