i goy some white gauzy fabric from the wal-mart remnant bin for two bucks. two yards and 6 inches orsomething. i used almost asll of it  Cheesy. its just a tiered skirt, with three tiers. the first has two layers so you can't see my fancy pants undies. i still need to hem it.

That is awesome. I love those skirts and really want one but i am oh to cheap to buy one so i think i shall try and make one even though i have never sewed anything in my life and by the way don't own a sewing machine.....lol but Ive been inspired so I'm going to go buy a sewing machine this week!

so pretty and flowy. it looks so comfy! was it hard to make? i've been wanting to make a skirt like that for awhile...i think i'll have to make a trip to walmart now! Smiley great job!

haha i liked the one huge run-on sentence Smiley it wasn't that hard, it'd be a good first project, just make sure you have enough material Wink!

yay it's wicked comfy! and it was pretty easy to make. it would have been easier if my seswing machine didn't crap out every two minutes, but hey, i need a new sewing machine :p!

I don't usually like to wear skirts but I would wear that one! You've inspired me to make my own, maybe with an embroidered flower on the bottom? Or multi colored tiers? hmmm.....  Grin

wow! that is awesome.  i too am too cheap to go buy a skirt like that but you've inspired me to try and make one.  are there tiny pleats to make it all whooshy and flowy? or else how do you get the waviness in it?
