clear plastic boxes with drainage holes.
my strawberries come in those too. I live in the US...I am always trying to figure out what to do with them.

You could donate them to a u-pick berry farm, if you have one nearby.  Not crafting, but at least reusing!

Not a craft idea.....but I put several in my dishwasher to hold tiny little items that need to be washed....often crafty little things I've found, etc.

They'd also make cute Easter baskets or May Day baskets.

Not a craft idea.....but I put several in my dishwasher to hold tiny little items that need to be washed....often crafty little things I've found, etc.

They'd also make cute Easter baskets or May Day baskets.



but they'd  have to be reasonably large small items otherwise they'd fall out. that's the problem i'm encountering with using them to store things. every time i pick one up for a paper clip they all start falling out the bottom.

Cut a piece of paper or cardboard to fit the bottom.
Try weaving ribbon/sting/yarn/strips of cloth/paper strips/colored wire/any of the preceeding and beads etc. through the sides.  It's a project I'd love to spend some time on, but cannot get the kids interested in trying.
