So this is my first "finished project"" post on craftster...
I found out about this forum through a search that lead me to this tutorial.  Thanks so much!
This is also the very first dress I have ever made...lots of firsts....

Thanks

I know, me too...alas its a wig and in real life I have very dark brown long wavy hair.  But after all the attnetion I got with the wig, I might have to get a cut and perm....I dont think I'll be going blond anyday soon Smiley

Thats beautiful. The colour is amazing and I love the details. I'm thinking of making something like this for my art project.

That's literally one of the cutest dresses I've ever seen. Maybe I will be capable of making something that cute one of these days. Hahahaha probably not but anyway great job I LOVE it!

yaaay i signed up so i could comment! (you didn't have an email posted and i don't have msn things ^^") this looks to be a promising forum anyway, but moving on:  this dress is soooo out of this world. I've got a 20's themed dinner coming up and have been going absolutely insane trying to find a good looking, time period appropriate pattern. Your dress is a gem.

I've got a question though, if it's not too personal, could you tell me about how tall you are and/or your avg dress size? See I'm kinda small (4'11.....and a half!") and i wanted to make sure i didn't buy and cut out fabric appropriate for a dress reaching the floor on me  Cheesy. I'm still fairly new to the sewing scene so i can't really judge what's appropriate yet. Thanks!
