Hi Everyone - This is my first time posting over in this neck of the woods but I'm a long time stalker of the completed jewelry projects forum Smiley. Full disclosure here...I've never made any jewelry and this is the first time I've used shriny dinks since I was 8.

I've been very busy at work lately and i've been coming home and working quite a bit instead of crafting. I decided I wanted to make something to remind me to make things! I've been itching to try shrinky dinks so I made a bunch of charms with icons representing the things I like making/doing. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I might just hang it like a banner on my craft bulletin board Smiley.

Each charm is ~ 1" x 3/4". Here are the images in order from left to right; measuring cups, yarn and knitting needles, spool of thread, scissors, the word "MAKE", spatula, crochet hooks, needle and thread and buttons.

Thank you so much for looking!

I love this! The lines look so neat, did you print the images on there or draw them?

I love this! It's so great and well executed! The drawings are perfect.

I'd be interested to know as well if you drew them.

Thanks so much! I used a mixture of clip art, hand drawn and computer drawn images. The shrinky-dink paper is amazing - it captures every little detail. If you look closely you can see the differences between the ones I drew with a sharpie marker and the ones I printed. After I finished it I came across a craft font that had everything I could have possibly wanted in neat little icons. Oh well, next time!

It was really fun and easy! This won't be my last shrinky dink project Smiley.
