I'm excited too

Smiley do you think that with each "set" of letters (ie. the first ones each partner sends and then the second ones and the third ones) there should be an "assignment" like the first ones are introductions then the seond set is something else? like decorate the envelope based on what you've learned about your partner so far (by decorating the envelope you could still write an awesome letter to each other Smiley ) Just trying to make it crafier Cool

yeah that'll be cool, but how do you know how long it'll take to send and receive so you can tell partners what "set" they're on? or could you make a list of assignments so it doesn't matter if you finish or not?

Well I put 3 weeks in between each send out date. For example partner #1 sends out and then 3 weeks later partner #2 sends out. Hopefully this should give 1 week for shipping and two for writing/decorating. If we do end up doing "assignments" they should be things that will take only half an hour or so to complete so I'm hoping 3 weeks will be alright between dates. If it turns out not to be enough we could definately make the dates all later.

I love pen pals!  How many people have signed up already?  Right now I'm doing the Disney Swap (the sendout date was changed to the 30th so don't worry-- I'm not a flaker!) and since it's my first one I'll have to wait until it's over to sign up for a new swap, but I'm definately interested.

Mm I love pen pals too! At the moment we have 3 definate sign ups and then two people who we're waiting to fill some requirements (ie the 15 posts rule and the month of membership rule). I might open the swap up to 16 or 18 people depending on how quickly we fill up Smiley But as of right now you'll definately have a place. If you need to fill some requirements send me your information anyways and I'll see what I can do about saving you a space. I want to include as many people who are interested as possible Smiley
