Hello! I finally signed up for the forum and hoping I meet some nifty kids who like to make crazy stuff out of vintage finds!

I'm in Bloomfield Hills, and I'd love a crafty club, but I don't drive, and we don't really have good public transport up here!

Hey I'm in the D also and I'd love to meet up with some fellow crafters. So far I sew, knit, crochet( just started and love it) and the list goes on into the more unusual ( right now homebrewing beer). Let's try and get something started.

I'm from the DH!(Dearborn Heights lol) I'd love to know some crafty peoples...there seems to be a lack of them in this area for some reason...I'm sick of getting odd looks when I say I'm off to melt some beads into a bowl lol

Okay, I'm just a teensy bit north of Detroit in Algonac.  I like to sew, I scrapbook, and try just about every craft out there.

Hi all! I just found this site this week! Where have I been? This looks like a great place for inspiration and sharing ideas! I'm in Farmington Hills.

It would be fun to get a group of local crafters together. Perhaps after the holidays we could arrange a meet at a local bookstore or coffee shop. We could all serve as support, inspiration and a sounding board for our crafts.

My main hobby is sewing. I have 3 daughter's and have made many, many formal dresses....from first communion to prom and everything in between. I also sew costumes for my daughter's public school theater productions, dance studio and recently, for my eldest daughter's dance company at WSU.

I also dabble in tons of other things. I can't help myself! Crafting courses through my veins. My dream would be to start some sort of home business. If only there were more hours in the day....I never find enough time to spend with my "projects."

Seeing everybody else's projects here has been both an inspiration and intimidation! There is so much talent on this forum! What a great bunch of crafters!
