Look what I found in a yarn store's "All For $1" bin!  The book's called "Afghan and Fashion Collection" and it's from Columbia-Minerva. Every pattern's named after a city in Arizona and I guess that's where the pictures were taken, too. I don't know why this cracks me up so much!

I have this book.  Got it at a garage sale a few years ago.

The Nogales one made me laugh so hard that I scared my dog and cat who were sleeping at my feet. The dog started barking and the cat jumped up onto my desk and almost knocked the keyboard off. Was not expecting that pic, lol.
I thought the Mariposa one was kind of cute. If you still have it handy I would appreciate the instructions for that. Thanks for sharing the pics. Haven't laughed that hard all day!

Your wish is my command! I scanned these in as two separate files: one a .jpg/picture file so you can see the  diagram and another for the text. Let me know if any of it looks funky (well, funkier than it started out)! Post a picture if you make it! Smiley

Grin Cheesy LOL I thought the pattern would be for the dress. I didn't even notice the afgahan! Ha Ha Ha! Anyhow now that I look at the afghan it's definitely funky, but funky is my middle name (well actually it's Darlene, but I prefer funky  Tongue ) and maybe it would be a good way to use up all those scraps and small quantities of yarn I got at an auction for cheap. Would make a good lazy winter cold day project and I will of course post a pic if i do it. Both files looked fine to me. Printed out good too. Thanks so much! Hope you having a great day!

You crocheters are hard core! I have to, have to see a picture of this dress if you make it... and then maybe give me a tutorial because I signed up for beginning crochet in September! Smiley

And a funny PS (because I must have a teenage boy's brain this morning), the text recognition/scanner thingie kept wanting to change "dc-ch" to "douche"!!
