It is wonderful!   Makes it so much easier to see the stitches.

Chalk, measuring tape, seam ripper (I have two!), scissors, pins (with magnet) and tape - which I use to mark the seam guide on my machine, etc.

I love personal swaps, for supplies, surprises, flamingo themed things and general silliness.

Would love some hand knitted socks for my big foot boyfriend.

I think I own about ten seam rippers, bought an spare bobbin casing too because it is not the kind of thing that you tend to loose, but if you did, then you can do nothing without it...apart from that I have spares of everything, because I have a genius for sitting in one spot sewing, putting something down and it vanishes...sewing gremlins I am sure

My seam ripper, absolutely.  I bought a new one and it disappeared so I need to get yet another plus a spare.

I'm a big fan of seam rippers too. I've got this one http://www.amazon.com/Allary-Combi-Cut-Ripper-Tweezers-Various/dp/B00555I79G/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8 and it's amazing. You can grab stubborn threads with the tweezers and retract the blade so you don't accidentally sit on it!

Also, recently got on the rotary cutter bandwagon. I thought they were only for quilters. Boy, was I wrong!
