Howdy, crafty people!
Iíve been lurking around here for ages, but Iíve never made anything that I felt was good enough to post. Well, I finally made something that I actually like. I was inspired by dirt_made_my_lunchís awesome record purse  so I decided to make something easier because I am a craft novice. Here it is!

wow!  I fully tried to make this purse a few months ago!  Only I had some issues-- I drilled holes all the way around the record, then melted it into that shape, then tried to sew some fabric on.  A stitch and botch waiting to happen.  How DID you manage to get your fabric attached to the record?  Hot glue?  And did you sew everything before you attached it?  It makes me sad that I threw everything away.  I could have made a tutorial of what not to do.  Wink

that's so lovely. i just found about 40 old red asian records while dupster digging and was just starting to worry about coming up with ideas for all of them (making bowls gets old after the first 13)!
