ok, I'm so sorry for disappearing on y'all for the last many months. I finally feel like my life is a little bit more organized (I moved, had some issues at work, emergency surgery followed by the flu, blech!) and I'm planning on running another Mini Art Quilt Swap if you want to discuss:

I'll get a new year up of the Quilt Along soon-ish but plan on being a little more low-key than what I attempted last year! Cheesy

No worries, MareMare! I'm sure we all can understand what having an overflowing plate cate feel like. Add getting sick in there and it just makes it worse!

I'm happy that this QuiltAlong happened because, not only did I learn a lot from people, it really helped to fuel my interest in quilting! Thanks for putting it together Smiley

Oh MareMare, sounds like you had more than plenty going on without worrying about us too.  We're fine, we didn't burn the house down or have too many loud parties.  Smiley  Hope you're feeling better now!

I'm gearing up to tackle some UFOs (finally set up my machine's extension table again) and this year I'm having a go at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge and Molli Sparkles' Honey Pot Bee (I'm actually kind of combining them a bit).  These are the blocks I've made so far:

I had so much fun with the novelty jars that I made eight more and turned them into two lil quilt tops for my local Project Linus group:

Ooh love all of those A_w!

I set up my sewing nook last night after being sewing room-less for 4 1/2 months. I could have set it up anytime sooner but somehow just couldn't make myself get around to unpacking those last big 10 boxes from moving! Super excited to sew tonight after work!

Thanks Mare!  Smiley  Hope you got some sewing done - it's great to have a dedicated space for it.

Hey gang!  I, too, have had a busy and not so fun fall and winter...but things look on the up and up and I am back!

I am working on four quilts...two are pinned and ready to quilt.  Got a new walking foot...I got it on Amazon for under $20 and it works way better than my last one! My sister gave me a whole box of sewing machine accessories that was given to her when someone's mom passed...I couldn't believe it...it had a ruffle maker thing and a FMQ foot as well as feet that I have no idea what they are for!  They fit!

I decided to cut into my collection of Tula Pink fabrics so I am looking at different patterns for that...and I ordered some kona solids in grey, tan, and my new favorite, raspberry!

Amazon--wow...those blocks are gorgeous! The shapes and colors you picked are so inspiring!

I did some hand sewing last night instead but told him tonight he needs to clear out because I'm machine sewing! I love the piece I made last night for my swap and am excited to share with you guys when I can! Cheesy

@aimr - Thank you!  Although I can't really take credit for the block choices, they're just the ones designated by each month's Bee Queen (or King, lol).  Smiley  Looking forward to seeing what you do with your Tula Pink fabrics.  She has some great prints, and I picked up some Tula Pink charm squares today while ordering something else entirely.  (Weird fact - for ages I assumed that she was a lady of colour and was actually disappointed to learn that she wasn't.)

@Mare - Ooooooo, bad boyfriend!  I hope he was duly punished!  Shocked Wink  I'm braindead tonight from poking a horrible manuscript so I might do some EPP hexies after supper.  It's been a while since I added to the pile...
